Just how much does Mrs. All in WDW love those lamb chop “lollipops”?

If you missed it yesterday, Rick Howard, President of Kingdom Magic Vacations and host of the Travel with Rick video-cast, invited us to join him on his quest to cover each and every Food & Wine ’13 marketplace in the month of October. That found us smack dab in the middle of Australia!

Before we got there, however, I took a shot at an advanced review of the Aussies’ 2013 effort. What grade did I give them? Read my “Food & Wine ’13 Scouting Report: Australia” to find out. Then, watch the show. Did they do as well as I expected?

Food & Wine ’13 Scouting Report: Brazil

Hey, everybody! Did you get a chance to watch yesterday’s show? What did you think? We’re dying to know!

If you missed it, Rick Howard, President of Kingdom Magic Vacations and host of the Travel with Rick video-cast, is spending the whole month of October covering each and every Food & Wine ’13 marketplace. Yesterday, was Brazil … featuring Mrs. All in WDW, and myself!

Our thanks to Rick Howard and his Director of Marketing, John Donahue, for giving us such an incredible opportunity. See us, again, in a few days as we cross the Pacific Ocean and land in Australia!

In the meantime, yesterday’s show wasn’t our first “visit” to Brazil. Before the crispy pork belly and seared scallops even hit a plate, I was already busy trying to sort out just how well this marketplace would fare in its return to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

If you’re a fan of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, then you’re well-aware of the popularity of Argentina’s Beef Empanada and Grilled Beef Skewer. If you don’t follow the “festival of all festivals” closely, however, then take it from me … they are perennial favorites.

I’m hungry. I just have to stop off at Wilderness Lodge for lunch. Do you guys like BBQ? We had heard all about it on the podcasts. We read the reviews. But, for whatever reason, we had never made the time to go over and visit.

Imagineering Food & Wine – Germany

With the Tables in Wonderland “2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Sneak Preview” special event” – Taste Your Way Around The World” – only three days away, you can pretty much count on this being a “Food & Wine” kind of week at All in WDW.

I know … lately, what week hasn’t been completely devoted to Food & Wine. Suffice it to say that we’ve got a lot of things in mind for you from today through the beginning of next week. Stay tuned, and keep coming back to visit. You never know what, or who, is going to “pop up”.

Frankly, and this isn’t a shameless plug to get you to follow us on Facebook or to subscribe to the blog via email, but the best thing you can do to keep up with the frivolity is to pick one of those two and sign up. Here’s the link to the Facebook page. As for following by email, look in the right-hand margin. Do you see the section named, “FOLLOW ALL IN WDW VIA EMAIL”? Click “Follow” … and you’ll be all set!

As I attend “Taste Your Way Around The World” later this week, and participate in the Travel with Rick LIVE video-cast next Monday, I hope to pepper you with pictures and updates. I’ll do that on All in WDW. If you’re part of the Facebook group, or subscribed to the site, you’ll get access to my posts as soon as they publish.

In the meantime, we’re back to do Chef Jens Dahlmann’s job again. I know. I have got some nerve, right?

When I look back at the last two years of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, as well as at the “Food” & Garden Festival held this past Spring, I think I’m in the minority. When appraising World Showcase’s German Marketplace, I come away very disappointed.

Dining Recon: Beaches and Cream Soda Shop – The Return!

This is the week for revisiting some of All in WDW’s “best and brightest”, I guess.

First, with Disney’s announcement that they will soon be introducing a new refillable, RFID-based mug program called ‘Rapid Fill’, we paid a return visit to the second-most read article in the site’s young life – “Mug(ged) in Disney?”. The result, “Mug(ged) in Disney … Again?” is now THE most-read post in our history.

Today, we take a trip back to Beaches and Cream Soda Shop!

All in WDW’s “Dining Recon”, from back in February, started the week as our fourth-most read post ever. Well, we’re back! Back for another burger and fries, that is!

Good morning, “World” of All in WDW!!!

We are 74 days away from the festival of all festivals! But, to hold us over, we can look forward to some exciting shorter-term events.

Just one week from this Saturday, All in WDW will be able to report directly from the Tables in Wonderland “2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Sneak Preview” special event – “Taste Your Way Around The World”!

When it comes to Food & Wine, in spite of the culinary genius of Epcot Executive Chef Jens Dahlmann and his team, Singapore annually receives criticism as THE marketplace desperately in need of “stepping its game up”.

If you’ve followed me for any measure of time, you know that my entire family loves Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Well, we also love their lake-side watering hole – Laguna Bar.

For us, Laguna Bar is one of the highlights of any stay at Coronado. From a friendly staff of bartenders to a beautiful view of Lago Dorado, Laguna is a small establishment that packs a large “punch”.
