Hey, all! This ended up being another really tough question! Sorry about that! Only 4 of 93 participants got this one correct.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Frontierland’s bumpy and wild mine-train roller coaster) was not one of the eight Magic Kingdom “E” ticket attractions that were the focus of this trivia question. Does anybody know what ride did round out those eight? I won’t keep you hanging this time. It was “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage”!
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was …
… an attraction at the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort from 1971 through 1994. The ride vehicles weighed forty tons or so and, surprisingly, were not actual submarines. They were boats in which the guests sat below water level!

As a side note, I saw some comments suggesting that the original trivia question was poorly worded. In retrospect, I guess I can see how it might have been misunderstood by some. By starting the sentence with Magic Kingdom’s Opening Date, the question could suggest that we were focusing on what attractions were “E” tickets as of October 1, 1971. In fact, we were merely looking for which attraction among this list of eight was not tagged as an “E” ticket.
Our main sources were historical WDW ticket info on AllEars.net – as well as pics of e-tickets from 1973 and 1976 that they provide (see below). The original trivia question was inspired by information provided by Orlando-Florida.net.
