By a mere two votes, the 2014 All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Disney’s Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurant is … Columbia Harbour House! Huh?! What?! What happened, Dole Whip? You’re supposed to be unstoppable!
Yes, fans. You have spoken! For the second straight year, Magic Kingdom’s seafood eatery has taken the “crown”. It wasn’t an overwhelming win, but it was a victory nonetheless. And, it’s a bit easy to understand, no?
Think about it … fried fish, shrimp, or chicken baskets. Lobster rolls. New England clam chowder. Grilled salmon. Such a variety of options! As iconic as our favorite pineapple-laden treat is, how could it possibly win?
The big surprise, for me, in this week’s poll was the lackluster support garnered by Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. It got bested two days in a row by Aloha Isle! Last year, losing by only seven votes, it made a solid run at Columbia!
What’s going on there, folks? I’ll admit that we haven’t visited “Bill” in quite a while, but has it taken a slide down the quality scale? Please let Mrs. All in WDW and I know. Pecos Bill has always been a family favorite. Why do you prefer to go to “the harbour”?
