In the meantime, All in WDW would like to thank one of our loyal readers for presenting us with this brief “tour” through one of Disney’s most-acclaimed restaurants – Yachtsman Steakhouse!
A first time visit for our friend, he described his experience as “Terrific. Best meal on property … ever. Best service, too.”
Their menu is quite diverse …
Personally, one of the things that caught my eye was the restaurant’s bread service. Seems pretty straightforward, eh?
Well, you won’t be simply buttering this bread. Check out the Roasted Garlic! Yum!
On this evening, though, the Yachtsman’s 12-oz Prime New York Strip Steak served with a Peppercorn-Brandy Sauce and accompanied by Potato Gratin was the star!
The verdict? The steak was “perfectly prepared and quite excellent”!
Dinner was capped off with a Lime Semifreddo. Meringue, guava, graham cracker toffee, and blackberry. Mmmm. Our friend “adored the dessert”!
Mrs. All in WDW and I have been to the Yachtsman only once … several years ago. To be truthful, our experience, then, was less than stellar. For the prices, we expected much more.
Having seen this review, though, we’re adding the restaurant back to our target list. It’s always good to give a place a second chance, after all!
Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! One of your fellow readers gives it a double “thumbs up”. If you haven’t given it a try, maybe you should. We will!
