Welcome to “All in WDW”!

Hi, I’m Bob Sikon, and in the “Disney-verse” I’m probably best known as @Rasoutlaw.  Weird, huh?  That’s because you can find me, most times, bumping around in the chat room on the Lines app owned by TouringPlans.com.  @Rasoutlaw is my name over there, and, oh, that’s my name on Twitter.com as well.  Why “Rasoutlaw”?  Well, the ‘Ras’ part is easy – those are my initials.  The “outlaw” part is a longer story.  Have you ever seen Kevin Costner’s “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”?  There’s a scene in there where he says, “They call us outlaws.”  I LOVE that scene.  Plus, at the time we first watched the film, we were living on a street called Sherwood Drive.  1+1=2, and Prince of Thieves+Sherwood Drive=Bob’s an outlaw.  Now, am I really an outlaw?  Of course not.  I’m about as straight-laced and WDW-luvin’ as they come.

Where else could you of heard of me on the Internet?

Prior to early 2010, I spent the better part of five years writing, editing, and podcasting about fantasy baseball for several outfits.  This eventually culminated in ownership of my own web site – Fantasy Baseball Trade Market.  I ran FBTM for two years, and, during that time, I even had the opportunity to interact with some notable personalities in the “real” baseball world.  This included several experts from MLB.com, MLB Advanced Media, and the MLB Network.  It was a blast.  As with anything, though, all good things come to an end, and I hung up my ‘cleats’ a few seasons ago.  After two long years on the sidelines, however, I find that I long to get back into the blogosphere.

So, here I am!  And, what better thing to blog about than the best place in the Universe – Walt Disney World!  As I mentioned, my first stop has been to become part of the family on Lines chat run by TouringPlans.com.  I highly recommend it.  And, no, I’m not getting a commission from them.  The group of people – the family members – on Lines are the best!  What a supportive crew of friends.  Join us!  But, even though chatting is a blast, when you’re limited to a certain number of characters, you just don’t get a chance to say everything you really want to say.  There’s so much to think about, talk about, and read about when it come to “The World”, I want a place where we can discuss Walt Disney World with little limitation.  And, I want to make “All in WDW” that place.

What will you find here?  How about “Tips and Tricks”?  Or, open discussions about resorts, restaurants, ADRs and attractions?  What do you do when you have young children?  But, at the same time, what mischief can you get into if you’re “empty nesters” like my wife and I?  Who out there, like me, is a “Cast Member Wanna-Be”?  We’ll look to answer any questions thrown our way, and try to come up with many more ideas.  I want this to be a fun place.  I want this to be a place to think about, talk about, and read about “The World”!  Visit us from time to time because, after all, anything worth talkin’ about is “All in WDW”!
