OK, so you’ve heard all about it, I’m sure.  LeFou’s Brew.  The “pride” of Gaston’s Tavern in New Fantasyland – well, if you’re not craving a pork shank, that is.

LeFou’s Brew is frozen apple juice (no-sugar added) with a hint of toasted marshmallow.  It is topped with a quite tart all-natural passion fruit-mango foam.

Served in a souvenir stein or goblet – if you want to pay the price – it is an excellent option to refresh a hot, Florida, Disney day.

… apple juice fan, so I opted to pass on the opportunity to pay $9.99 for a serving in a stein.  Well, I don’t really have anywhere to put the stein either.  I’m running out of room for Disney keepsakes!

Like I mentioned, the mango foam topping is quite tart.  Undoubtedly, it is there to ‘cut’ the sweetness of the frozen apple juice, but, to be honest, I think it was just a little bit too tart.  The apple juice, on the other hand, was very refreshing.  As much as I typically avoid apple juice, in its “frozen state”, it was excellent.

For $4.49 – the price of a “beverage only” serving – LeFou’s Brew is an outstanding option … if you love apples.  It is cool and refreshing.  On the other hand, if you really want the souvenir, go ahead and pay the extra few bucks to buy the stein or goblet.  You get the beverage and you can keep a piece of the memory.
