If you didn’t have a chance to watch the voting yesterday, we came very close to what would have been called an enormous upset.

In short, we had a much lighter-than-usual day of voting on Monday, and it was very nearly the end of Via Napoli.  When I shut the old iMac down last night, Coral Reef had a slight edge over “The World’s” best pizzeria.  By the time I woke up, all was …

… right in World Showcase and Italy’s new jewel had raced past the reef and into the finale.  Thank you, night-time voters!  Without you, a poll today – without Via Napoli – would have caused a reader uprising!

On another note, The Garden Grill really has appeal!  It bested Biergarten in Round 1 while falling behind only to Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room.  In Round 2, it took out Via Napoli!  Wow!  Was it the light voting?  Is its character-offering really that good?  Maybe the fact that it provides a rotating view of the Living with the Land attraction makes it a “must-do”?  Leave us a comment and let us know, folks.  We haven’t been there yet and want to know why we should give it a try.

Now, we move into “The Finale” – where the big question is … can Chip ‘n Dale carry The Land’s slowly rotating restaurant to the title?  Let’s find out!
