Before & After: Bread Service at Sanaa!

More Animal Kingdom Lodge, Bob?  Sure!  Why not?  Now that we’re stuffed with Boma’s buffet, let’s hop over to Kidani Village!

Let’s see some hands.  Who, out there, adores Sanaa’s infamous bread service?  One, two, three, four …

OK.  I guess that there are a lot of us!  One of the most popular “appetizers” on Disney property, Sanaa’s Indian-style Bread Service is fantastic.

As advertised, you get your choice of five breads – Traditional Naan, Garlic-Ginger Naan, Spiced Naan, Onion Kucha, or Paneer Paratha.

Truthfully, you can pick five of the same, if you’d like.  We usually choose a combination of any of the three naan.

Then, you’re served your choice of three accompaniments.  Actually, for a small up-charge you can order them all.  That’s what we’d recommend you do, In fact!

They are – Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Mango Chutney, Tomato-Date Jam, Tamarind Chutney, Coriander Chuntey, Garlic Pickle, Red Chile Sambal, or Spicy Jalapeño-Lime Pickle.

So, if you’re a fan, you know all of that already.  What might you not know?  Well, it appears that the presentation has changed somewhat.

Courtesy of one of All in WDW’s readers – Ashley – here’s what she received, shown with Lamb Kefta Sliders, on her visit to Sanaa last week.  Quite a different picture in comparison to the one above, yes?

Closer shot of sliders.

Fortunately, my friends, Ashley reports that, appearances aside, the quality of the service was up to its normal standards.

Boy, that’s a big relief!  This bread is some of the best there is anywhere!  If you get a chance to dine at Sanaa, folks, their bread service is a “must do”.  Trust us.  You won’t be disappointed!
