Is it the Tequila?! We Have a Winner!

When I cast my own vote yesterday, I failed to remember La Cava del Tequila.  Really, my friends, is it the tequila?  Or, is it La Cava’s “designer” margaritas?

Actually, I think I still would have chosen yesterday’s 2nd Place finisher – the United Kingdom – as my personal favorite, but, in hindsight, Epcot’s Mexico pavilion is a very worthy “champion”.

Think about it … two dining locations (including La Cava), a dark ride, and a quaint Mexican marketplace all housed in the most unique structure in World Showcase – a mock Aztec temple.

If that’s not enough, two more restaurants outside on the promenade!  Add in character “meet ‘n greets” and a mariachi band … this pavilion is loaded with fun!

Mexico?  Congratulations!  You’ve earned it!  You are the All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Epcot World Showcase Pavilion!

Your All in WDW Readers’ Favorite World Showcase Pavilion? VOTE!

Good morning, my friends!  I find this hard to believe, but I’ve scoured through All in WDW’s archives, and I can’t find where I’ve ever asked you to vote for a favorite Epcot World Showcase pavilion!

Three years of existence, and I never formally ran that poll?  It can’t be!  Oh, I think I’ve informally asked you the question, on maybe more than one occasion, but, evidently, I’ve never run a “tournament”!

Well, given yesterday’s photo tour through World Showcase, I’m inspired.  Let’s “elect” an All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Epcot World Showcase Pavilion!  Go ahead, folks.  VOTE for your favorite!

I’ll get you started … Rose & Crown Pub, Yorkshire County Fish Shop, Sportsman’s Shoppe.  Yes, Epcot fans, the United Kingdom pavilion gets my vote!

A Walk Around World Showcase! Photo Overload!

“Food” & Garden’s Outdoor Kitchens will have to wait, yet, another day, my friends.  With the festival just days away, however, I better get my previews rolling soon!

Today, I just feel like taking a stroll.  In fact, I dream of the days that Mrs. All in WDW and I can enjoy our daily walks in the most peaceful part of the Walt Disney World Resort – Epcot’s World Showcase!

Enjoy a “walk” around the lagoon, folks.  Revel in the sights.  Imagine the smells.  World Showcase Promenade is a 1.2 mile stroll through paradise, in our opinion.  Do you agree?  Take a look and enjoy!

File Feb 23, 5 24 07 AM

So, a few days ago, as I announced that IllumiNations had just become the 2016 All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Epcot Attraction, I asked you for an opinion.

Rumors still pop up now and then.  In fact, for years, the talk has been that a new fireworks extravaganza is being developed for Epcot.  What?!  I am shocked and appalled!  Well, evidently, you are not!

When asked for your opinion as to whether or not Disney should replace our Epcot “champ”, over 75% of you voted to “Tweak Illuminations” or declared that you’re “Ready for a Replacement”!  75%!

I am stunned!  Personally, I cringe at the thought of, yet, another Walt Disney World “icon” biting the dust.  Clearly, however, you have spoken.  You’re ready for a change.  You’re looking for an upgrade.  Wow!

See ya’ real soon, folks!

Finally! 2016’s Epcot “Food” & Garden Festival FULL MENUS Arrive!

I was quite disappointed earlier this week.  You see, Disney updated their Flower & Garden web page by merely listing the names of this year’s Outdoor Kitchens.  Like you, I had anxiously been awaiting their full menus!

Oh, they added descriptions to that page – verbiage that revealed some of what they plan to serve this Spring by way of delicious dishes.  To name what they published  as “menus”, however, would have been a big stretch.

By now, the full menus have appeared elsewhere on the ‘net, but, this morning, I noticed a new link on Disney’s site – “Download the 2016 Garden Passport”.  Instead of a short rundown of this year’s Outdoor Kitchens, the booklet reveals it all!

So, you know me … I’m all about the entrees.  What exactly is Epcot serving this year?  Let’s dine!
