Phone a Friend! Dining Recon: Tangierine Café

My friends, I have to give my podcast-partner John Peters credit for this one.  Why?  Well, I said it a few days ago.  Mrs. All in WDW and I usually walk right by the Morocco Pavillion!

A few months back, I was taking an evening solo stroll through World Showcase and found hunger on my mind.  It was time for dinner, and I was in quest of Counter Service cuisine.

The Yorkshire County Fish Shop’s deliciously crispy Fish and Chips crossed my mind, but Mrs. All in WDW was back at the resort.  It didn’t seem right to enjoy a portion without her.

Sunshine Seasons and Sommerfest, they seemed a little bit “been there, done that”.  I checked out the Lotus Blossom Café’s menu.  I wasn’t enticed.  Hmm.  What to do?  Phone a friend!

One of John’s favorite – dare I say, “must do” – spots in Epcot is Morocco’s Tangierine Café.  A quick call to him, and I knew just what to have!

Step into this charming Mediterranean eatery.  It is known for its authentic shawarma platters.  It delivers terrific flavor.

Enjoy the architecture and decor, folks, but feast on the food.  You have to order the Shawarma Chicken and Lamb Platter!  Served with hummus, tabouleh, couscous salad, and fresh Moroccan bread, it is fantastic!
