Really! There are! I mean, do you remember me rambling on about one of my favorite Disney “signature” beverages a few months ago? Disney’s Habañero Lime Margarita?
As I said back then, made of Patron Silver Tequila, Habañero Lime (a flavored syrup loaded with the heat of habañero and the tartness of lime), and a house-made Sweet-and-Sour, it is a symphony of “around-the-rim” saltiness, “margarita-mix” sour-sweetness, with a nice hot-pepper kick.
Visit “Beverage Recon: Habañero Lime Margarita!” and take a look at the pictures! Have you ever had one?
Then, we stumbled upon BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas! You want choices? “Joe” has choices! “He” serves a multitude of margaritas! Well, OK, so maybe “he” has a half-dozen or so. Check “him” out here at “Dining Recon: BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas!”
As our ‘almost’ daughter-in-law, Sarah, proclaimed, “This is much better than the margarita we got in Mexico!” How about that for a controversial review? Of course, that particular trip, her margarita was not from La Cava. She’ll have to sample one of those at some point!
And, speaking of …next, Mrs. All in WDW and I paid a return visit to La Cava del Tequila! We went for the tequila, but we enjoyed one of La Cava’s own signature cocktails … a Jalapeño Margarita!
Made with El Mayor premium silver Tequila, muddled jalapeños, fresh lime juice, cucumber, and agave nectar, it is served on the rocks with a hibiscus Himalayan salt rim. And, you know what? It was good … but not as good as my beloved Habañero Lime Margarita.
And, La Cava’s chips? Served warm with guacamole, queso (warm white nacho cheese), and the best salsa we’ve tasted in a very long time, they were outstanding! You have to go back to “Should We Have Another Tequila?” and take a glance. Yum!
Finally, I have to admit … I didn’t even know that Downtown Disney sported a Margarita Bar! Really?
Ranging from $8.75 to $12.50 in price, they peddle their own collection of margaritas.
And, look at this seating area! How comfortable is this? A nice umbrella table by the water? Great view of Downtown Disney? Who can argue with that?
Like I said, “There Are Margaritas Everywhere!” Cheers, folks! Where else have YOU found a great margarita in WDW?
