Tomorrow, folks. Tomorrow!
Make sure to stop back tomorrow. Tell your friends! Tomorrow, we begin the poll of all polls. It is almost time to elect the All in WDW Readers’ Favorite WDW Attraction. Which attraction will rule The World!
Until then, you guys have me stumped. I was sure yesterday’s questions would be a challenge. Nope. You knocked ’em down … again!
According to Disney, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is “The Story of Earth”. Having said that, this was the toughest of the two questions with 91.36% of you splitting your responses between three different options. In the end 32.10% of you knew that Reflections of Earth is part of the attraction’s title but not a ‘part’ of the show.
In truth, Part I, is “The Earth Is Born”. “Earth’s fiery birth begins with flames and fireworks erupting from the lagoon.” In Part II, “The illuminated surface of the globe reveals the history of humanity and the achievements of our time,” as we celebrate “The Triumph of Life”. Finally, in Part III, “Hope for the Future”, ” … the globe blossoms like a lotus flower, revealing a torch ablaze with our dreams. A chorus of voices rises as the entire lagoon dances with bursts of joyous white light.”
I thought I was gonna get ya’ with Question #2. Ah, no such luck! A whopping 63.89% of you knew that the author of Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, and the The Illustrated Man – Ray Bradbury – helped to design the structure of Spaceship Earth as well as to write the original storyline for the attraction. You guys have bested me again!
On the eve of our epic crusade to name our overall WDW favorite, we’ll move back to Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Let’s take a trivia-focused visit back to see those two attractions before they jump into battle again!
Question #1: During your log-flume adventure through Splash Mountain, which one of these whimsical places can you visit?
Question #2: The infamous bride that ‘haunts the Magic Kingdom’s mansion’ is named __________.
