Ride Spaceship Earth! Then, Take Off On A Four-Park Adventure … With ResortTV1!

Good morning!  It’s going to be a very rainy day in Atlanta today, my friends, and Mrs. All in WDW and I don’t mind one little bit.  Why?  Because we’re about to take off on a “Four Parks in One Day” adventure with Josh and Jenna!

That’s right!  Starting in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at 10 AM this morning, ResortTV1 will embark on a journey through all four Disney parks in one single day!

Begin with all of your Animal Kingdom favorites – Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Pandora – and end with a night-time stroll through Disney’s Magic Kingdom!  And, hey!  Can’t watch all day?  Stop back throughout the day!  They’ll still be touring!

Forget those chores, everyone.  Turn off those football games.  Join the fun!  Enjoy a “loaded” Walt Disney World Saturday!  Take off on a Four-Park Adventure with ResortTV1!

Until then, get warmed up with this live ride through Spaceship Earth!  Recorded last night, Josh and Jenna’s journey begins at about the 12 minute mark.  Enjoy it by clicking on the picture below!

A Celebratory “Media Explosion” of Epcot! Happy 35th Birthday, Old Friend!

Home to our favorite WDW attractions – such as their annual International Food & Wine Festival, World Showcase, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, and Spaceship Earth – it goes without saying that Epcot is our favorite park.

So, what do you do when a beloved “friend” has a birthday?  You throw them a big celebration, of course!  And, the best way that I can think to do that is to share our Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

Initially imagined as a utopian city of the future, it was planned by Walt Disney to be a recreation of a perfect place – a “paradise”.  My friends?  Please enjoy this multitude of photos and videos of what we feel is, indeed, that paradise!

The dessert that Mrs. All in WDW declares is WORTH the calories – the Apple Caramel Crunch formerly served by Sunshine Seasons!

The inaugural member of All in WDW’s “Hall of Fame”, Maelstrom was memorialized with that honor in 2015. It was a family favorite!

Rose & Crown’s Bangers and Mash is one of the most economical and delicious dishes on Disney property!

One of our very favorite things to do — enjoy a pint or two in the Rose & Crown Pub … accompanied by a serving of Yorkshire County Fish Shop’s fantastically crispy Fish and Chips!

No, Goofy! Don’t do it!

“Food” & Garden’s Beijing-style Candied Strawberries are always one of Mrs. All in WDW’s favorites!

New Zealand’s Lamb Meatball was the 2014 and ’15 All in WDW Food & Wine Festival Champion!

China’s Mongolian Beef was the 2013 All in WDW Food & Wine Festival Champion!

Hawai’i’s Kalua Pork Slider was the 2011, ’12, and ’16 All in WDW Food & Wine Festival Champion!

Hops & Barley’s Smoked Beef Brisket and Pimento Cheese IS the 2017 All in WDW Food & Wine Festival Champion!

‘Go Your Own Way’! Spaceship Earth TRIVIA Revealed!

Wow!  You really, really are sharp Disney fans!

When I wrote yesterday’s question, I knew that only the Fleet of mind “wood” (would?) be able to knock such a Big Mac caliber of question out of the park!

If you consult ultimateclassicrock.com (did anyone even know that there is such a site?), you’ll find that they rate Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 song – ‘Go Your Own Way’ – as the band’s #1 best song ever.

Fleetwood

When you enter Spaceship Earth’s “California” garage, you’ll find that our diligent inventor is a big enough fan of that famous band to have their poster adorning the wall.

But, then, about 30% of you “eagle-eyed” Epcot fans knew that already!  You truly do pay attention to Disney’s details!  Great job!

Spaceship Earth TRIVIA Returns! How Well Do YOU Know Epcot’s Icon?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again!  Each time I enjoy a tour through Epcot’s iconic, silver sphere, I try to pick out some little detail that might make for a great trivia challenge.

Spaceship Earth & Palms

Well, here’s a really tough one!  I think.

You’re nearing the very top of Spaceship Earth.  You enter a garage in – somewhere in California, maybe?  A man hunches over a desk.  He’s clearly building one of the world’s very-first home computers.

On the wall, over his head, is a poster.  It pays tribute to a 1970s rock band.  That band is __________.

Another Room with a View!

Some time back – about a year ago, in fact – I posted my OWN shot of Crescent Lake.

Taken from high atop Disney’s Yacht Club, it was OUR room with a view.  Stop back and take a look.

Well, thanks to family friend, and avid All in WDW reader, Will F., we get another angle on this very popular area.

Shot from his weekend “home” at the Dolphin, Will passed this along to me last Saturday.

I just love the fact that he caught Spaceship Earth and Epcot on the horizon.  Plus, he timed one of my beloved Friendship boats passing under the bridge?

Outstanding picture, Will!  I hope you had a great trip!

Hey!  Do you have any especially picturesque photos that you’d like to see on All in WDW?

If so, send them to me at bob@allinwdw.com!
