We Sure DO Love OUR Monorail, Don’t We?!

Oh, yes, we do.  Just take a look at yesterday’s results!

I won’t ask you to look back, but Walt Disney World’s monorail won this “competition” back in 2013 as well.  In fact, back then, it was victorious in a runaway landslide fashion!

New Bus and Monorail Red

Of course, our beloved, colorful “train in the sky” still ran out to an early and insurmountable lead yesterday.  Really, the result was never in doubt.

Having said that, Disney’s naval flotilla took its best shot at toppling the monorail off its perch.  The three watercraft options provided in yesterday’s poll finished in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places.

It all amounts to this … Disney’s most unique method of cruising through “The Kingdom” is still the All in WDW Readers’ Favorite WDW Transportation!

Be sure to come back tomorrow, my friends!  The poll to “elect” our favorite Deluxe resort kicks off first-thing Monday morning!  Cheers!  And, have a great Sunday!

A Contemporary Moment!

Sometimes a picture is worth a 1,000 words, or, in this case, a million bucks!  It’s simple.  You just have to be in the right place … at the right time!

Take this great shot, for example.  In this instance, the “prize” goes out to our son.  What a fantastic picture!  Great photography!

As we cruised past Disney’s Contemporary Resort, he caught both the hotel and an unexpected special guest appearance by “our” beloved monorail!

It put me to thought.  I’m always finding new ways to capture Disney’s modes of transportation on “film”.  Whether it be buses, boats, or “trains”, they all make for great, colorful pictures.

So … what is our favorite form of WDW transportation?  Well, a little more than two years ago, I ran a poll very similar to the one below.  I think it’s long past time for a repeat.

Are you like me?  Do you love the buses?  Yes, I’m in the vast minority, it seems, but I do love those Disney buses.  But, then again, I adore the monorail.

How about you?  Which one of these is your favorite form of WDW transportation?

In the group below, you can vote for THREE options.  In the end, today’s top vote-getter will be “crowned” as “king”!  Cheers, my friends!  VOTE!

Another Satisfied All in WDW “Customer”?

Oh, OK.  You’re right.  I don’t have “customers”.  I have Disney friends.  So, how about I name this post, “Another Satisfied Disney Guest?”

I bet this happens to you too, but I get asked for WDW advice … a lot.  I mean, I’m the guy that friends, family, and co-workers walk up to and say, “Hey! We were thinking about going to Disney.  Where should we go?  What should we do?  What is it going to cost?  When should we go?”

Yikes!  Where do I start?

Anyway, do you remember the question I fielded a few weeks ago?  Fantasy baseball expert, Joel Henard, was heading to Major League Baseball’s Winter Meetings as a camera man for Bleacher Report, and he asked, “How can I get to the Dolphin?”

Reader Question: “How can I get to the Dolphin?”

Isn’t it great to hear from old friends?  For instance, one of my old fantasy baseball buddies reached out to me a little over a week ago to ask me … a Walt Disney World question.  Outstanding!

I “met” Joel Henard (@JoelHenard on Twitter) back in my fledgling days as a fantasy baseball blogger.  Fantasy Baseball Trade Market. That was me.  Meanwhile, Joel had just started podcasting his new show – Hoosier Fantasy Baseball Insider.  Yes, Joel lives in Indiana.

Now, I have moved on to my ‘other’ love – Disney – and he’s moved on to bigger and better baseball-related things.  In fact, he’s been, or is, affiliated with a lot of huge names in the fantasy baseball industry – Baseball Prospectus, Baseball Daily Digest Radio, RotoInfo, Fantasy Pros 911, and Fantasy Alarm.  He’s an Indianapolis Indians (AAA baseball) media member, a host on the Armed Forces Radio Network, and a member of the Fantasy Sports Writers Association.  Wow!  Great work, Joel!

But, why did he reach out to little ole’ me for help?

Hello, MCO! Thanks a lot, Andrea!

Good morning, all!  I hope you’re staying dry … we’re not! Thanks a lot, Andrea!

Well, as I said on Twitter and Facebook yesterday, we have a “Plan B”.   Tambu Lounge.  Territory Lounge.  Crew’s Cup.  The Bellevue Lounge.  Laguna Bar!  Whatever it takes!

Oh, don’t start scolding me now.  Mrs. All in WDW and I are not going to …
