French Trivia Answered! Who Misses the Earffel Tower? [Poll]

Marvelous Monday, my friends!  Shake off those beginning-of-the-week blues and get after the week!

So … did you tackle yesterday’s trivia question?  No?  Here’s your chance to take a step back and test your Epcot IQ … click this link!

How tall is Disney’s version of France’s Eiffel Tower, you ask?  Why, it reaches 103 feet into the Florida sky!

The challenge turned out to be a little bit tougher than I expected.  Only 24% of you got it right!  Congrats to those of you who scored with the correct choice.

Of course, the Eiffel Tower inspired another piece of Walt Disney World, as well.  Even if it was by its name only.

Opened on May 1, 1989, the Earffel Tower was once a Hollywood Studios park icon.

Based on water towers commonly found in 20th century movie studios, Disney closed this structure on April 29, 2016.  It leads me to ask …

Epcot Trivia! Welcome to France!

Good morning, folks!  Are you ready to test your Disney knowledge?  Yes?  Then, let’s go!

Constructed from 1887–89 as the entrance to the 1889 World’s Fair, the Eiffel Tower in Paris is the most-visited paid monument in the world.

It has become a global cultural icon of France, is one of the most recognizable structures in the world, and stands 1,063 feet tall.  Thank you, Wikipedia, for all the info!

Of course, as you all know, Epcot’s France Pavilion is centered around a smaller-scale replica of this Parisian monument.  How tall is Disney’s version?

A Taste of France – Serveur Amusant!

Seriously, folks.  When I stroll through World Showcase, and have the good fortune of stumbling upon this fantastic French duo, I can’t resist stopping to watch.

In fact, I’d go so far as to say I become mesmerized by their fabulous performance!

Serveur Amusant.  Synonymous with the most incredible of entertainment.  Is that too strong of a statement?  I don’t think so.  You?  Check them out on video … below!

Can you believe that up until a few weeks ago, I had never sampled their cuisine?  Well, I finally gave them a chance.

I chose their Sugar Crêpe.  At $4.22, it was a bargain.  Warm and delicious, it wasn’t too filling and tasted great!
