Food & Wine ’14 “Flash Report”: Seared Sea Scallop

I’ve said it before … I love scallops. And, this was a great scallop!

Every component of the dish was good. Crispy bacon. Spinach gratin. Perfectly cooked scallop. No, not good. Great! The scallop was first-rate.

Having said that, though, as seafood goes, for me, Epcot has way too many better and heartier options to choose from this year.

Scotland’s service was an issue, but, in spite of that, if you’re a fan of scallops, this little bite is worth its $4.50 price tag.
