Food & Wine ’17! Let the “Fun & Games” Begin! VOTE!

Step right up, folks!  Rejoice, foodies!  The “party” is about to begin!  Food & Wine ’17 is right around the corner!

Well, OK, so the actual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is still about 40 days away.  Hey!  That doesn’t mean that we can’t crank up our own festivities, though!

I mentioned this a couple of times earlier in the week, but we have a “tradition” around these parts.  This time of year, we start “carving” through Food & Wine.

Why, you ask?  Well, that’s easy.  Epcot is offering over 80 entrees this year.  Can you eat that much food?  At $5-$6 per dish, do you want to spend that much money?

Well, I cannot and do not.  So, I reduce Food & Wine’s overall menu down to a much-more manageable “hit list” of 20 items.  Less calories!  Less dollars!

Canada’s Filet Mignon

Of course, we want you all to join in, as well.  That’s where Food & Wine “Fun & Games” comes in!  We’ll help you narrow your choices down to an easier-to-digest menu of your own.

Our goal, my friends, is to use your VOTING talents to create a menu collaboration that any one of you can use to guide your tour through 2017’s World Showcase “buffet”!

What dishes will be included in the 2017 WDW Fans’ Food & Wine Pre-Festival Top 20?  Let’s jump into Day #1 of voting and find out!

You job, today, everyone, will be to select as many as five (5) items from the list below.  The Top 5 dishes will move forward into Round 2.  We’ll be back tomorrow with another “group”, so stay tuned.  VOTE!

Who’s Ready For Food & Wine “Fun & Games”?

Of course, before we can dive into Food & Wine “frolics”, we have to do a little bit of homework first, eh?  Such as, “Bob, what in the world are you talking about?  What fun and games?”

Well, for those of you who have followed All in WDW over the years, you’ll know that we have an annual tradition when it comes to this time of year.

What is that?  Not only do I carve the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival’s entrees down to a menu of my Top 20 items, I ask you to do the same!

How do we accomplish that?  Hah!  By polls, naturally!  This is All in WDW, after all.  It’s our specialty!  So, keep watch folks.  Those “Fun & Games” will kick off in the very near future!

In the meantime, you do need to do your homework.  First, if you haven’t already, please take a look at the festival’s full menu.  Use this link …

Let’s Get The Party Started! Food & Wine FULL Menus Have Arrived!

Then, please check out the audio version!  That’s right, folks.  The WDW Main Street Podcast crew and I gathered together at the ‘pub’ to dissect each and every marketplace.  Catch that jam-packed episode at …

Episode #376 – Food & Wine ’17!

By my count, Epcot is dishing out 83 noteworthy entrees in 2017, my friends.  Can we pare that down to a final tally of 20 dishes?  Absolutely!  Hey!  I’ve done it already, so I know you can too!

Like I said, stay tuned to the web site and the podcast.  The task to determine your 2017 WDW Fans’ Pre-Festival Top 20 is about to begin!  What will be on your menu?

Let’s Get The Party Started! Food & Wine FULL Menus Have Arrived!

Playing the “Hits”! What’s YOUR ‘Eat to the Beat’ Hit List?!

It’s getting to that time, folks!  The 2017 “record-breaking” Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is just over two months away!  A 75-day party!  That is a record!

Speaking for myself, I cannot wait to see what dishes will return in 2018.  Will Disney bring back some of my “retired” favorites – like China’s Mongolian Beef Steamed Bun?  What new creations will be unleashed?

While we wait for food, however, let’s talk about what we do know.  This year’s Eat to the Beat Concert Series has been announced.
