Worthy items, all of them!  THANKS very much for all your effort and voting over the last few weeks, my friends!

So, why did we do all of this work?  Let me ask you this … if you’re lucky enough to attend Epcot’s 2015 “bash”, are you going to be able to buy and eat that much food?  Of course, not!

How about this … have you ever gone into a restaurant and been handed a 50-page menu of items to choose from?  Has it taken you 45 minutes to “weed” through all of their options?

In the above list, you’ve already done all of that “weeding”!  The above list are your pre-festival recommendations for anyone who attends the 2015 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!

Now, there’s just one last task to complete.  I need a few volunteers for this one.  Who is up to the challenge?  Who, amongst us, is a true “foodie”?  Who is willing to take this Top 25 and rank it in order?!

If you’re craving a bit more fun, email me at bob@allinwdw.com.  I’ll send you a spreadsheet listing these 25 gems.  Your job will be to “drag and drop” them into order from 1 to 25!

C’mon!  Volunteer!  You know you have an appetite for a little more Food & Wine fun!

Did We Let Our “Loaded” Dole Whip Melt In The Heat?! Just One Day Of Voting Left!

Last call!  Only one day of voting to go, my friends.  16 dishes are “in” … 9 Epcot “masterpieces” remain to be placed!

Hey, what about our “rum-soaked” Dole Whip, though?  Did we leave it out in the cold?  Did we let it melt in the heat?  Of course, not.  It made the grade!

Now, Brazil’s Crispy Pork Belly with Black Beans, however … it got put into “the fridge”!  In other words, we cast it aside.

I have to admit.  Brazil struggled with the belly’s quality last year.  Having said that, I have faith in its return.  I’m pretty sure it’ll make my list!  Oh, well.

These 8 delicious morsels made it through yesterday:

  • Kālua Pork Slider – Hawaii
  • Belgium Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache – Belgium
  • Roasted Verlasso Salmon – Patagonia
  • Florida Grass-fed Beef Slider – Hops & Barley
  • Cheddar Cheese Soup – Canada
  • Dole Whip with Bacardí Coconut Rum – Refreshment Port
  • Lamb Meatball – New Zealand
  • Potato and Leek Waffle with Beer-braised Beef – Belgium

So, on to our last day of voting, my friends.  Once again, I present THREE groups below.  You get to VOTE for THREE dishes in each group.

Once the votes are tallied, only the bottom TWO items in each group WILL NOT claim a place on your menu!

Got it?  Great!  Now, VOTE!

8 Dishes In! 17 To Go! Food & Wine Voting Continues!

Congratulations, my friends!  With yesterday’s voting, you granted 8 of Epcot’s Food & Wine creations passage into an elite club!

They become members of the 2015 All in WDW Readers’ Food & Wine Pre-Festival Top 25!  In other words, these dishes have made your menu!

  • Loaded Mac n’ Cheese with Nueske’s Pepper Bacon – Farm Fresh
  • Buttered Chicken – Africa
  • Seared Sea Scallop – Scotland
  • Berbere-style Beef Tenderloin Tips – Africa
  • New York Strip – Chew Labs
  • Grilled Beef Skewer – Patagonia

Africa's Berbere-style Beef Tenderloin Tips have made YOUR Top 25!

Africa’s Berbere-style Beef Tenderloin Tips have made YOUR Top 25!

Where will these delights rank on your final list?  Only time will tell.  What items will join them?  Today’s voting will tell!

And, with that, same drill as yesterday!  I present THREE groups below.  You get to VOTE for THREE dishes in each group.

Once the votes are tallied, only the bottom TWO items in each group WILL NOT claim a place on your menu!

Easy enough?  Great!  Go ahead, now.  VOTE!

Readers’ Pre-Festival Top 25? Round 2 Voting is Open!

Good morning, foodies!  I bet I know what a lot of you were up to yesterday!  Tailgate parties!  College football.  Did your school win?

Then, of course, comes tomorrow.  If you’re in the U.S., I hope you get to enjoy a delicious Labor Day barbecue!  Steaks, ribs, burgers, and “dogs”!

Just thinking about it has me hungry!

In fact, I’m so hungry that I decided today would be a phenomenal day to jump back into Epcot’s 2015 Food & Wine extravaganza!

The voting today is going too be pretty straightforward, my friends.  I present THREE groups below.  You get to VOTE for THREE dishes in each group.

Once the votes are tallied, only the bottom TWO items in each group WILL NOT claim a place in the 3rd Annual Reader’s Pre-Festival Top 25!

Simple, eh?  Vote for 3!  Discard the rest.  After three more days of “eating”, the Top 25 will be set!  We’re almost there, my friends!  So, VOTE!
