Trek Across The World! VOTE for your WDW Favorites!

Welcome back, everyone!  Thanks for voting yesterday!  Your efforts will be appreciated today, as well!

So, what did we accomplish on Day #1?  Well, these fine WDW icons made their way into Round #2 …

  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • Test Track
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
  • The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
  • Spaceship Earth
  • Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
  • Wishes nighttime spectacular

A sensational group of attractions, wouldn’t you agree?  Of course, compiling that list didn’t come without a little bit of stress, I guess.

For example, the fact that Wishes, Everest, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster were seeded into the same quartet came under fire.  Later, I learned that one fan felt that the TTA PeopleMover got a “bad” seed.

Frankly, there were no “good” seeds.  We have to keep in mind that we’re working with the 32 most-favored attractions in all of Walt Disney World!

Honestly, every grouping is tough.  In ways, I’m sure that you’ll find today’s choices are even more difficult!  I did.

Anyway, here’s the “science” that was used … each 1st Round group has one attraction from each one of the four parks.  Each group also has one 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finisher from an individual park poll.  It was as objective as it could get.

Anyway, not to delay today’s action any further, let’s get right to it!  Like yesterday, we’ll use our standard rules.

I present FOUR groups, below. You get to vote for ONE attraction in each group. Cast FOUR votes, in total, today.  The Top 2 in each group will join the aforementioned eight in grabbing a spot in our “Stupendous Sixteen”!

OK, you know the drill, my friends.  Vote for ONE in each group!  And, please, stop back tomorrow to cast your 2nd Round ballots!

Thundering Through Disney! VOTE for your WDW Favorites!

Greetings, my friends!  Our ANNUAL “Super Poll” is here!  Today, we start our several-day quest through ALL of Walt Disney World’s parks!

Actually, I’m breaking with All in WDW tradition a slight bit.  You see, usually the Favorite WDW Attraction poll runs over NCAA March Madness Final Four weekend.

This year, however, I have a conflict.  Our son is getting married that particular weekend!  If I don’t clear the way to prioritize my attention to that blessed event, I’ll be in big trouble!

That being the case, we’ll launch the “tournament of tournaments” one week early!  Yahoo!  Voting time is here already!

Over the last few months, you’ve “elected” your individual park favorites.  Over the next two days – in Round 1 of this competition – 32 of those attractions will stop back for a visit.

BTMR - Shot 24

Yes, the Top 8 from each of the four parks will return to compete for the illustrious title All in WDW Readers’ Favorite WDW Attraction!

We’ll use our standard rules today, folks. I present FOUR groups, below.  You get to vote for ONE attraction in each group.  Cast FOUR votes, in total, today.

The Top 2 in each group will reach our “Stupendous Sixteen”!

Yes.  I know that the choices you’ll need to make today – and in each subsequent day of this competition – are excruciating.

You have to remember, everyone, that we’re dealing with the “cream of the crop”.  We’re choosing from among the best that Walt Disney World has to offer!

The challenge is this … from each group of four, which attraction, in your opinion, best-deserves to be called our overall favorite!

OK.  Get to it!  Vote for ONE in each group!  And, please, come back tomorrow to weigh-in on the other half of our Round 1 attractions!

The All in WDW Readers’ Top 10 WDW Attractions!

You see?  I’ve said it before, but this is what I absolutely love about our Top 10’s.  Look at this list!

  1. Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival
  2. Wishes nighttime spectacular
  3. Haunted Mansion®
  4. Soarin’®
  5. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

When it comes down to it, if friends ask you to toss them a few WDW “must-do’s”, how can you go wrong with a collection like this?

First, they’re all phenomenal attractions.  Second, look at how they so-evenly cover the entire park … three from Magic Kingdom, three from Epcot, three from Hollywood Studios, and one from Animal Kingdom.

Food & Wine 2013!

Food & Wine 2013!

Geez. Even if they (or you) are going to Orlando in the “wrong” month and you were forced to drop our “champion” off the list as a once-in-a-year event, you could add in:

  • Spaceship Earth
  • Kilimanjaro Safaris®

After all, they finished our just-completed “tournament” tied for 11th place!

Great job, my friends!  This is a terrific target list upon which to build a trip.  And, you know what?  If you (or your friends) need to go deeper into the parks to round out your plans, just dive into these:
