The million dollar question … did China’s Mongolian Beef do enough to “win” the whole festival for a second straight year?
I have to be honest. I don’t know that it did.
The beef tasted great. The pillowy-soft steamed bun still wins points with its unique-ness.
The fact is, though, the chili mayo was tame and forgettable.
Still a good dish, but a champion? We’ll see.
