Today’s festivities come to an end as we conclude our run through Epcot’s trio of steamed buns.
Leave it to Japan to hit me with something I didn’t expect. Of course, when I think “steamed bun”, I’m visualizing China’s version.
When compared to that from China, Japan’s steamed bun looked different. Its texture was different. It even tasted a bit different.
I’ll say this for it, though … although its teriyaki filling was sweet, it wasn’t sickeningly sweet like China’s duck.
