Welcome to the All in WDW Readers’ 2014 Food & Wine Pre-Festival Top 27!? Huh?

Yeah, I have to confess.  I screwed up the math on this one and left us with two too-many items.  It’s OK, though, I promise!

Fortunately, we’ve assembled a capable cast of culinary experts to take our Top 27 and rank them in order from 1 to 27!

Mmm. Beef Empanada!

Mmm. Beef Empanada!

How will they work it down to a Top 25, you ask?  Easy.  Once they’re done, numbers 26 and 27 will become your first and second Honorable Mentions.  Hopefully our friendly volunteers will work the numbers better than I did!

So, what will they be eating?  Here are the 27 delicious dishes!

  • Rib-Eye Taco – Mexico
  • Kālua Pork Slider – Hawaii
  • Braised Short Ribs – France
  • Seared Mahi-Mahi – Singapore

Food & Wine! Dare I Say? 12 Days Away! VOTE!!

Eighteen down, and …. well, not too many more to go.  Better get on with it, because Epcot’s food and wine are ready to flow!

With the results of Friday’s voting in the bag, what nine dishes did we add to our menu yesterday?

  • Cheese Ravioli – Italy
  • Griddled Greek Cheese – Greece
  • Slow-braised Beef with Puerto Rican-grown Rice – Puerto Rico
  • Shrimp Taco – Mexico
  • Grilled Beef Skewer – Patagonia
  • Baked Lobster Alfredo – Hops & Barley

Outstanding!  We’re two-thirds of the way there!  But, do we have a problem?  9 + 9 + 9 = 27?!  Yeah, after today, our Top 25 is going to become a … Top 27?!  But, we wanted a Top 25, yes?!

I have a solution for that.  But, it includes YOU!  I’m still looking for volunteers.  We are, indeed, voting for a Top 25.  But, I need people to rank the dishes!!

Please email me at bob@allinwdw.com if you’re interested in participating.  Otherwise, leave a Comment on this post, Tweet me at @allinwdw_com or reply to any of my Facebook posts!  We NEED you!
