Take Another “Cruise” on Crescent Lake!

Good morning, folks!  Happy Friday!  Today, we take another “cruise” on (or should I say, ‘away from’) Cresent Lake!

I’ve said it before … we just love Disney transportation.  Whether it’s a bus, a monorail, or a boat, count us in!  Plus, all three “vehicles” make for good photo opportunities!

In today’s case, we’re “sailing” away from Crescent Lake!  All aboard!  We’re shoving off!  It’s time to visit Hollywood Studios!

Here’s to “Friendship”, Folks!

I’ve made it no secret that Epcot is our favorite park.  I’ve also mentioned, countless times, that the Crescent Lake area of Walt Disney World is one of our favorite parts of the entire resort.

Well, here’s to “Friendship”, my friends.

Friendship

One of our favorite experiences is to ride from Epcot to a Crescent Lake resort – or, to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, for that matter – via a member of Disney’s Friendship fleet.

How about you?  What’s your favorite way to get from “here to there” at Disney?

Four Parks, One World? Four Parks, ONE Day!

In case you missed all of last Saturday’s “shenanigans”.  Here it is … all in ONE place.

We woke up with a challenge on our minds.  We had never tried to tackle all four WDW parks in one day.

So, we sketched out a very loosely-defined plan and took off for the TTC.  A tram ride from the Simba section and a shivering journey on a ferry later, we were in “The Kingdom”!

Here are those links …

The only thing we haven’t shared, as yet, is our “brunch” at Gaston’s Tavern.  That will come soon.  It was our first visit … other than a serving of LeFou’s Brew some time ago.

After we returned from “orbit”, it was time to …

Has WDW Transportation Been Rescued … Finally?

Disney Transportation takes its “lumps”.  Oftentimes, for very good reasons.  Well, maybe help has finally arrived!  The last few trips, we’ve seen these “guys” all over property.

Much more visible than we remember them ever being, it’s quite a relief to see them out and about.

For example, the fellow in the first of these two pictures rescued us from an hour-long wait at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Where were we going?  Uh, to the Animal Kingdom!

The line was two buses long, and the Guests were quite grumpy.  Seriously, how in “The World” could it be so hard to get a bus from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Animal Kingdom park?!  Sheesh!

Is the much-more visible presence of Transport Leaders a sign that Disney is making a focused effort to fix some of their issues?  Time will tell.  Hopefully, however, Guests will start to see less of the problems we’ve all experienced in the past.

How about you?  Do you have any WDW transportation “nightmares” to share?
