Menu “Recon”: The [BoardWalk] To-Go Cart

What’s on tap for today, folks?  Well, like I said in yesterday’s B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. post, here we are with, you guessed it, more food!

We’ve left Disney Springs, for the moment, to ‘jet’ across property.  Where’d we land?  Disney’s BoardWalk, of course!

The very simply-named To-Go Cart is probably one of the most unheralded Quick Service stops in all of Walt Disney World.

A veritable ode to carnival food, the Cart’s menu covers, what seems like, every item you would find at your local county fair.

What would be my personal favorites?  Well, Fried Ravioli would top my list!  After that, either of To Go’s Corn Dogs would be a must.

How about you, my friends?  What would you order from this little-known spot?  Leave a comment and let us know!

Dining Recon: Casey’s Corner

Confession time.  Until just over a month ago, Mrs. All in WDW and I had never visited Casey’s Corner.

Can you believe it!  It’s an amazing omission.  Well, it is to me, at least.  After all, my favorite sport is baseball, and I just love corn dogs!

We certainly enjoyed our first visit!  Mmm.  Corn dog nuggets!  A very inexpensive $5.49 snack!  How could we pass it up?  Quite simply, they were delicious.

Casey’s nostalgic decor is phenomenal, as well.  It certainly lives up to the restaurant’s theme.  Take a look!  Very colorful!

We have been visiting Walt Disney World for 15 years.  In all that time, we’d never stopped by Casey’s for even the quickest of bites?  What were we thinking?!  I’m glad we finally remedied that mistake.

How about you?  Have you neglected this Magic Kingdom counter service gem?  Take our advice.  Don’t.  Add it to your list.  It’s well worth it … even if it’s just to enjoy a quick, cheap snack!

Shall We Eat Some of “Fantasy’s” Fare?

Do you remember me showing you pics of the World Showcase of Flavors food truck a few months ago?  Yum!

In truth, we actually caught this beautiful red truck much before that.  But, unlike the World Showcase truck, which was inconspicuously hiding at the doorstep of Epcot’s … uh, World Showcase, Fantasy Fare was right where it should be – Downtown Disney!

It’s the Hand-Dipped Corn Dog that catches my eye.  House-Made Chips.  Reasonable price.  Count me in!

Unfortunately, there were no corn dogs for me.  On the day we passed through, we had bigger things in mind.  Things of an Irish pub variety?  Stay tuned to see how well that turned out!

By the way, yesterday’s trivia question was sort of a “softball”, wasn’t it?  You guys were right on target!  Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort cannot be reached via a Sassagoula River Cruise!
