Finally, one of your favorite Food & Wine dishes is Hops & Barley’s New England Lobster Roll. Me? I’ve never been a fan. Why?
Each time I’ve ordered it, I was left with an unsatisfied stomach – the serving size can be puny! – and an empty wallet! One of the most expensive dishes at the festival, it was $7.75 in 2016.
Also on the pricey side, Crew’s Cup Lounge provides, what I think is, a much better version of the dish.
Served chilled and on a butter-toasted roll, it delivers a much-more generous portion than World Showcase. Is it worth its $19 price tag? Hmm.
Folks, my advice is this … pass by Food & Wine’s lobster roll. Whether at Crew’s Cup or another restaurant on property, you’re likely to find a more-delicious roll at a much-better value.
Everyone, we’re closing in on Opening Day! The ranking team is working feverishly to place your Top 20 in its proper order.
