Everyone LOVES Barbecue!

Well, at least it seems like EVERYONE loves barbecue.  This entire “tourney” was over about 10 minutes after it started!  Talk about quick!

Flame Tree Barbecue absolutely destroyed the field on its way to becoming the two-time, TWO-TIME, All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Disney’s Animal Kingdom Quick Service!  Yes, it won our support last year as well.

Flame Tree's BBQ

Perhaps the biggest surprise of yesterday’s final round was Pizzafari.  It barely slipped into the finale with a meager six (6) first-round votes but, somehow, it knocked off two of 2013’s favorites – Yak & Yeti™ Local Food Cafes and Restaurantosaurus.  Hmm.  Interesting.

Well, I’ll say one thing for us … or, for Flame Tree, that is.  We’re very consistent.  Flame Tree “smoked” the competition so badly in 2013 that I never carried through with a traditional All in WDW-type poll.

Take a look back at 2013!  I just named Flame Tree the winner and continued the tournament to decide 2nd Place.  Uh, that was Yak & Yeti™ Local Food Cafes, by the way.

Dining options, for both Table and Quick Services, are pretty limited in the Animal Kingdom.  It will be really interesting to see what new locations spring up with 2016’s AVATAR-Land expansion.  And, will they be good enough to “take out” the BBQ?

Until then, if you’re in the kingdom of animals, and you’re craving a pile of barbecued chicken, ribs, or pulled pork, Flame Tree is the place to go.  Hey, it is the only place to go!  All of their meat is seasoned with a “special” BBQ rub, and it is DELICIOUS!
