Well, it was a pretty tame and quiet vote, but we’re pleased to present the All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Disney’s Hollywood Studios Quick Service … Pizza Planet!
I have to admit that I’m a bit surprised. The other three restaurants in the Final Four are somewhat frequent stopping points for the All in WDW family. We most often pop into ABC Commissary for a quick DHS meal but, we recently gave Studios Catering Co. a shot. In addition, Starring Rolls – and its luscious desserts – have always had a spell cast upon us. In fact, we have to fight off the temptation to devour one of their Butterfinger cupcakes each time we take a stroll through Hollywood Studios.
When it comes to Pizza Planet, we …
… have gone there once – when our son was in the 2nd Grade. Now, he’s in medical school. That’ll tell you that it has been a very long time since we’ve passed through its doorway. At this point in our lives, I’m pretty sure we’ll look for our pizzas elsewhere, but for families with small children, it clearly hits the spot. Well, it did in this vote, at least.
The “Planet” is the champ and Starring Rolls is our runner-up. They’ll both be back sometime in the future when we vote to decide just what is our Favorite WDW Quick Service. In the meantime, pass the “Pizza”!
It’s the same way with me – the last time I went to Pizza Planet was years ago.
I prefer Studio Catering Company and ABC Commissary for lunch.
God help us, its never occured to us to eat at Pizza Planet! We either eat at Brown Derby or hop a boat to Epcot for CS- cant seem to find our go to at studio!
I second both those sentiments, Andrew and pnk! Commissary has always been our QS ‘go-to’. We like Brown Derby for the Cobb Salad, but, honestly, there are better TS restaurants to spend a bunch of $$$ at in our opinion.
