I have to admit … we’re like a lot of people.  We don’t give the Animal Kingdom near enough love.

In fact, for us, it’s usually just a place to take a safari trip through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve and, then, for me to enjoy a quick dash through the the Himalayas on Expedition Everest.  After that, Mrs. All in WDW and I, typically, go on our way to our next WDW destination.

Imagine my surprise when I collected the entries for the 1st Round of this weekend’s “tournament”.  I came up with …

… 37 attractions and entertainment options.  37!  And, here, we typically stop enjoying the park after 2?  Wow!

I think the key to a lot of what Disney’s Animal Kingdom has to offer is notoriety.  I mean, take DJ Anaan, for example.  Who?

In Disney’s words, “The DJ and his dancers invite you to their ‘Festival of All Seasons’ show.  Move your feet to Bhangra music, a fusion of Punjabi and western pop, and learn fun Indian-based dance moves.”  Uh, OK.

Dino-Sue is Dinoland U.S.A.’s reproduction of an actual Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton.  Have you experienced Anandapur’s sitar and tabla duo - Chakranadi?  Um, what’s a sitar and tabla?

How about Habitat Habit! located at Rafiki’s Planet Watch?  All of these things and more are listed on Disney’s web site as attractions to experience and entertainment to enjoy.  Who woulda guessed?
