The Congo River passes though ten countries.  Ten!  But, even that’s not enough to win this question’s “prize”.

At 4,258 miles, the Nile River passes through eleven countries.  These would be Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, and Eritrea!
