The REAL All in WDW Readers’ Top 10 Deluxe Resorts!

After I published the results of our big finale yesterday, I got a Tweet saying, “I thought Saratoga Springs won this year?”.  Fortunately, it was followed with a little smiley face.  My answer?  “I have no recollection of that!”  I promptly added a just-between-you-and-me wink.

Powered by the past week of polling that you all kindly and diligently supported, I am pleased to be able to FINALLY announce the REAL All in WDW Readers’ Top 10 Deluxe Resorts!

Polynesian Beauty

The Top 4 come straight out of the results of yesterday’s finale.  The remaining resorts are recorded in order of their cumulative vote totals for the entire “competition”.  Without further delay, here you are!

  1. Disney’s Polynesian Resort
  2. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
  3. Disney’s Beach Club Resort
  4. Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
  5. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
  6. Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  7. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
  8. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
  9. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  10. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House

Before I let you go, let me leave you with this thought …

One has to wonder what the results might look like if I had presented options called “Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas” and “BoardWalk Inn and Villas”.  With three Animal Kingdom facilities and two BoardWalk options in the Top 10, could our beloved Polynesian have weathered the storm of competing loyalties?  Hmm.

  1. Bay Lake Tower is my favorite! You can’t beat the location. Living at the monorail resorts is awesome. That beings said, I have a love of the Polynesian too. It was our first Deluxe stay and I’d really like to do a DVC add-on when they go on sale. It would round out our DVC points nicely.

  2. Bay Lake Tower is my home resort and favorite. Although, Polynesian is a close second. I’d love to add-on to my DVC points at Poly when they go on sale. My third would be the Beach Club. Location to attractions is important to me and living in the resort loop of monorail is awesome. Beach Club for atmosphere, boardwalk and EPCOT.

    • For us, we clearly prefer the Crescent Lake resorts. Proximity to both DHS and Epcot is key, but we like the easy access to all of those restaurants, pubs, bars, and pool bars. In addition, the resorts are fantastic.
