Food & Wine ’15 “Flash Report”: Seared Sea Scallop

Very, very good!  Scallop was a nice size and very well prepared.  Perfect, in fact.  The bacon … well, how can bacon not make  anything better?  Paired very well with an Innis & Gunn Rum CASK OAK Aged Beer, by the way.

Food & Wine ’15 “Flash Report”: Roasted Verlasso Salmon

The portion size is still quite generous.  The quinoa salad is very good.  Like Patagonia’s beef skewer, however, the protein was a bit over-done.  Again, I think it was Opening Day jitters.  I’d still recommend this dish … as well as the skewer.

Food & Wine ’15 “Flash Report”: Seared Venison Loin

Mrs. All in WDW liked it a lot, saying that, if she didn’t know it was venison, she’d have thought it was beef!  In other words, it didn’t taste “game-y” at all.   Myself?  I’m going to pass on venison next time.

Food & Wine ’15 “Flash Report”: Chicken Sausage with Creamy Polenta

Yeah, here’s the Chicken Sausage that I remember.  Mrs. All in WDW commented that it was spicy.  Honestly, I thought it could be “hotter”.  The creamy corn polenta is outstanding!
