In contrast to last year’s Food & Wine festival, both Japan and Morocco played a pretty prominent role on my 2014 “Food” & Garden menu.

Hanami

All in WDW’s Overview: We like sushi.  Mrs. All in WDW prefers sashimi, surprisingly.  I like it too, but my tastes run to nigiri and rolls.  She says it’s the rice … and, she’s right.

Having said that, for me, Japan’s Hanami Sushi and Temaki Hand Roll were the best of both worlds.  In the end, I preferred the Hanami Sushi.  In fact, I had it twice!

My favorite part of visiting Japan this time around?  I finally remembered to buy myself a set of chopsticks!

I know.  It’s a simple thing, but I have gotten so sick of using those cheap wooden throw-aways.  And, this means there’ll be a little bit of Disney in every bit of my sushi from this point forward!  Yay!
