What an epic day yesterday was!  And, I’m not just talking about the riveting, nail-biting vote you all produced in Sunday’s finale!

Lou Mongello, the host of the pre-eminent Walt Disney World podcast WDW Radio, held an “On the Road” event in Atlanta yesterday.

Mrs. All in WDW and I were SO excited to be able to spend the afternoon with Lou, his host Michelle Burdo of CBS Atlanta news, and dozens of other fans just as enthusiastic about Disney as all of us!

But, more about that tomorrow!  Today, we have a “coronation” to complete!  Our “guest host” today is a fine gentleman by the name of Lumiere.  Lumiere?  Take it away!

Yes, my friends, with the highest overall vote total for the entire competition, you have elected the Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest Restaurant as our Parks “champion”!

The final result doesn’t surprise me in the least.  The two restaurants I hear of the most are the two that consistently received the most support over each and every round of this week’s “tournament”.

Yes, Be Our Guest and Via Napoli are very popular.  And, brace for the horror of our confession.  We have yet to visit either one!  What?!

Sunday’s finale was a dogfight.  At one point, even Tusker House was in the lead!  If there was one surprise, it was 50’s Prime Time Café.  It had received an average of just over 28 votes in each of the first three rounds of our week-long poll.  Yesterday, it only snagged nine supporters!
