What?! Anaheim Produce didn’t win “the prize”?! I … am … shocked! Truth be told, its performance in our just-completed Favorite Hollywood Studios Quick Service “tournament” was pretty lackluster. Just one vote, in fact!
Well, fair is fair, my friends. I’ve given you a glimpse of everything else that Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard has to offer. It’s only right that Anaheim gets its “love” as well. Take a look! Gotta love the beer choices, at least!
Way to go, Starring Rolls! You are still the All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Hollywood Studios Quick Service! It won this “prize” in 2014, too, my friends.
Folks, it’s just too hard to pass by a Butterfinger Cupcake, isn’t it? I mean, look at it!
Let me tell you, if you haven’t had one yet, you should. It’s the decadent “cupcake cousin” of the long-time popular candy bar, and it’s delicious!
As for the remainder of Hollywood’s Quick Service options, you’d recommend them to family and friends in this order – the All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Top 5 Hollywood Studios Quick Services!
Starring Rolls Cafe
Backlot Express
ABC Commissary
Fairfax Fare
Rosie’s All-American Café
Great work, everyone! At some point in the future, we’re going discuss Hollywood’s Quick Services again, though.
Why, you ask? Well, the comments I saw over the past two days suggest that they are all candidates for our “Rehabilitate or Eliminate” feature!
Hey! Maybe its time we took it into our own hands and improved dining at the Studios for Disney!
Good morning, my friends! Welcome back to All in WDW! Are you ready to hit the polls? Once again, it’s time to vote!
How could I take all of that time last weekend to stroll past Sunset Boulevard’s Quick Services and leave some of them “un-visited”? Which did I miss, you ask?
Well, we haven’t dropped by Anaheim Produce as yet. I know. Fruit. Wouldn’t hand-dipped ice cream be more enticing? However, we’ve neglected Hollywood Scoops as well!
Apple Crisp a la Mode, anyone? A Brownie Sundae, perhaps? Yum! Back to the “tour”, though. To this point, we’ve visited …
If you missed them earlier, please click the links above to view their menus. You might just need that information in a few, brief moments!
Folks, welcome to the All in WDW Readers’ Favorite Hollywood Studios Quick Service poll! Below, I present you with twelve options. Everything Hollywood has to offer!
Your job, today, is to select your Top 3 choices. Yes. That’s right. You can select THREE of these Quick Service venues. When all is said and done, ONE of them will “reign” supreme!
Straightforward enough, eh? Will it burgers or pizza? Will it be barbecue or bakery? Only YOU know, my friends, so VOTE!
Or, should I say, my friends, welcome to today’s installment of All in WDW’s Quick Service-focused stroll down Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard – Menu “Recon” – Toluca Legs Turkey Co.!
So, I guess my first question is … why, exactly, are these legs from Toluca? Anyone? No? Too bad. I would have loved to know how that name got picked.
Toluca sports a very limited menu, of course.
Jumbo Turkey Leg served with or without sides. Hmm. If you’re holding a turkey leg, do you really have enough hands for sides? Well, you can “borrow” one of Eddie and Rosie’s tables, I suppose.
Today’s real question is this … where do you stand on Disney’s infamous turkey legs? People seem to love ’em or hate ’em. In which camp are you?!
Not feeling Catalina Eddie’s pizza, my friends? That’s understandable, it seems. Some of the comments I saw over the last two days regarding its – well, actually, Pizza Planet’s – pizza were pretty indicting.
Statements like, “[I]s it true anyone liked Pizza Planet? It was the same cruddy pizza served all over the Parks and Resorts. Just horrible.” And, “I desperately wanted to like it … I always left disappointed.”
Wow! If it is true that Catalina serves the exact same pizza as Hollywood’s, currently closed, “Planet” then I can understand if you’d like to pass by Eddie to visit his partner … Rosie!
Situated directly next door to Eddie’s, Rosie’s All-American Café shares Catalina’s seating while serving a completely different menu.
Are you a fan of fried green tomatoes? That sandwich certainly catches my eye. Having said that, I’d have a hard time passing on an Onion Straw Cheddar Cheeseburger! How about you!
